KR101E/M, R6 anti-vandal and RU5208 UHF wiegand reader
Wiegand readers can be used for all terminals and controllers that have a wiegand input and use the standard 26/34-bit wiegand protocol. They work at different frequencies (125khz, mifare, UHF, ...). In case we have a terminal that supports cards/tags at e.g. 125kHz, and it is necessary to switch the system to e.g. mifare technology, you don't have to change the whole terminal. Just connect a wiegand reader that supports mifare technology to the wiegand terminal input.
Also, these readers can be used for e.g. to record IN events from the outside of the entrance, while a terminal can be mounted inside the building to record the OUT events. In this way, we eliminate the possibility of expensive repairs in the case of mounting the terminal outside if someone damages it. If an electric lock is connected to this system, then it is possible to have a simple system for access control and recording of working hours.
The KR101E/M is an external wiegand reader that can be used for all terminals and controllers that have a wiegand input and use the standard 26/34-bit wiegand protocol. Its affordable price makes it an ideal choice for access control and time and attendance systems. Furthermore, it is waterproof, in IP 65 protection and represents a favorable solution for outdoor installation. In combination with the terminal SCR100 it can be used to record IN events, while the terminal SCR100 itself is used to record OUT events. It has LED lights that can indicate allowed (green) or forbidden (red) access. It is easy to connect and install.

wA00 is an anti-vandal variant of an external KR101E/M wiegand reader that can also be used in cases where it is necessary to ensure additional protection when using reader in demanding environments or to create a solution that fits into the intercom system at the facility. It is waterproof, in IP66 protection and is an ideal solution for outdoor installation. In combination with the SCR100 it can be used for logging IN events (SCR100 can log OUT events). LED lights that indicate allowed (green) or prohibited (red) access are visible through the protection. It is resistant to impacts and mechanical damage. Furthermore, it is easy to connect and install (in the same way as the KR101).

A special type of reader with a wiegand interface are UHF RFID readers. These devices use the ultra-high frequency (UHF) band, between 840 MHz and 960 MHz. Their extended reading range compared to standard readers allows one reader to interact with many cards/tags simultaneously, at a very high speed, at a distance of about ten meters. They can be used to quickly record the IN and OUT events of people/cars using UHF cards/stickers or in conjunction with an access control system. By connecting to the terminals for time and attendance, a system can be made where employees are not obliged to present cards to the terminal, but their arrivals and departures are automatically detected. Due to the strong field they generate, we recommend that the input and output be physically separated.
