USB reader can be used with our ervTimeClock application to track work time via any PC computer or laptop. Using system in this way is especially suitable for use on construction sites, on the field, or for companies that often change their location, and also for tracking individual time and attendance from home. Although any USB card reader can be used with the application, for compatibility, we recommend using the CR10E/M or the mini U10E/M USB card/tag reader. These USB readers are compatible with all versions of Windows OS and read the same card/tag serial number as the terminals we offer.
The CR10E/M is a standard USB card reader that reads card serial numbers at 125kHz or 13.56Mhz (Mifare). The reader connects to a computer with a USB cable. It is compatible with all versions of Windows OS (no need to install any additional drivers) and reads the same card/tag serial number as the terminals we offer. It does not need any additional power supply to work, it receives power directly from the USB port. Card/tag reading is facilitated because the light and sound signals are switched on when detecting. The use of this reader in the time and attendance system eliminates errors that may occur when adding/changing users manually.

This reader does not have an audible signal when reading the card, but it is possible in the ervTimeClock application to set the computer or laptop to sound signal on card reading. It is convenient for reading cards where the space is cramped or small, and it can be easily transferred from one place to another.
