ZKTeco/ZKSoftware C3 controllers for time and attendance

C3-100 type devices are primarily intended for smaller companies that want a basic access control with time and attendance in one device. They control one (1) door (they have one relay with COM/NO/NC contacts), and up to two readers can be connected to them. They offer basic functions, but also high speed of registration with possibility of connecting any reader type (125KHz, 13,56MHz, HID...). As readers, you can use any 26-bit wiegand reader, from any manufacturer. They are is characterized by a reasonable price. Although it is possible to have an unlimited number of these controllers in the system and thus adapt the system to large companies, if you need control of a large number of doors or turnstiles, we recommend using C3-200 or C3-400 controllers.

C3-200 devices are also intended for smaller companies that want basic access control with time and attendance or large company's in which there is a large flow of employees within one shift. They control two (2) doors (they have two relays with COM/NO/NC contacts), and a maximum of 4 readers can be connected to them. They offer high speed check-in/out with the possibility of connecting any reader type (125KHz, 13,56MHz, HID...). As readers, you can use any 26-bit wiegand reader, from any manufacturer. They have a big memory capacity and a reasonable price. On each door, it is possible, with the help of our software, to define the type of event that is logged, so it is possible to define on one door, e.g. as working hours (IN/OUT), and on other doors with e.g. break (IN/OUT). The number of combinations for the event type is unlimited, and also the user can define his own event for each door.

C3-400 devices have the same purpose as the C3-200, but with one big difference. They have four relays that can control up to four (4) doors. The controller has two operating modes, ie. can work in C3-200 mode. Then only two relays are active, and both readers that control one relay are used when logging IN/OUT events. The second mode of operation implies that each reader has its own relay that controls, which is very important if you want to use one-way access control on the door or e.g. turnstiles (tripods). When working in this operating mode, a signal is sent to the turnstile via a relay to turn in one direction or another. In this way, with high speed check-in/out, they are ideal for use in large systems where it is important that a large number of employees go through the turnstiles. As readers, you can use any 26-bit wiegand reader, from any manufacturer.
